Interesting Online Dating Concept

This is a young site, www.uwooed.com, but they have a very different concept to the "I like this; so do you, therefore let's get married" idea. It's all video and no profiles or dodgy photos. I like the idea and hope it takes off. Unfortunately, it's pretty empty at the moment, but so were all the big ones at one time.

Zoosk is Not Customer-Friendly

I paid for a 6-month subscription but canceled after a week. I asked for a partial refund and was refused. Customer support said they have a "no-fund" policy. In my opinion, this is unfair, and it's not a customer-friendly policy. I recommend that no one use Zoosk. There are better services and some free ones that exceed Zoosk's site.

Plenty of Fish vs. OKCupid

I have to say, I have been on both of these dating sites, and I much prefer OKCupid to Plenty of Fish. They are both free, so yes, there are some losers, but if you're smart and savvy you can pick the good ones from the bad ones. OKCupid is lots fun of personality tests and questions, and a formulated matching system in which each profile has your compatibility percentage. The biggest difference is the quality of people, in my opinion.

Worth a Look

I know allot of people use the free ones, but I think sometimes it's better to pay. One of the best value ones I found was www.chatuptime.co.uk. It's cheaper than Match/Dating Direct and has lots of members. Plus, everyone looks normal.

JDate's pretty good

And I've gotten a good response with Match.com too.

Online Dating

At one time or other I was a member of eHarmony, Match.com, Fitness Singles, SingleParents, and probably a few others. I am so happy to say that I have finally met someone and we are planning to get married. I met my love on Match.com, but I think it's a matter of really thinking about what you want and actively looking for and dating to find that. It's doesn't necessarily come down to he particular website you use.
