Unfortunately, Washington, D.C. has repealed their Sales Tax Holiday for 2009. It was originally approved for Aug. 1-9, 2009, but was rescinded in an effort to save money for the district. You can read more about it on the District of Columbia's Office of Tax and Revenue web site.
