"Do's" for Sharing Facebook Photos:

  • Do post pictures of yourself on your own Facebook page.

  • Do talk with your coparent before posting pictures of your children online.

  • Do keep in mind any ground rules you've shared (or will share) with your children, such as not posting Facebook photos of anyone wearing a bathing suit.

"Don'ts" for Sharing Facebook Photos:

  • Don't share pictures of others that you don't have permission to post on Facebook.

  • Don't post Facebook photos that you don't want others to see.

  • Don't break your own rules when you choose which Facebook photos to share online. (For example, if you've asked your ex not to post pictures of the kids online, don't share them on your Facebook account, either.)

  • Don't post Facebook photos that publicize the use of alcohol.

  • Don't post Facebook photos of anything that could be used against you in court.
