Plenty of Fish is a great social networking website. There are many categories to choose from, not just dating. In fact, I have met many same-sex friends through Plenty of Fish, in addition to the people I've dated through using the service.

Penny's Bottom Line
I had tried Yahoo and Match.com, and this one beats them both. And the best part is, it's free. I had to pay for the other two services, and they didn't have as many people to choose from.
