Each year the National Institute on Media and the Family releases a MediaWise® Video Game Report Card. Part of that report includes a "top ten" video games buying guide to help parents select fun and age-appropriate games for their children. The following games were listed in the Tenth Annual MediaWise® Video Game Report Card as the best video games for kids:

1. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

  • Rated "E 10+" (everyone ten and up) by the Entertainment Safety Ratings Board
  • Players can play the game as Harry, Ron, or Hermione
