Week 9: Raking Leaves With Your Kids

While yard work isn't everyone's favorite job, there are some benefits to getting out there and raking the leaves. First, the job will be done , and you can check it off your growing "to do" list. Second, your kids will have a great time jumping in that huge pile of leaves as you go!

Plan to follow up this activity with cup of hot cocoa and, if you have a fireplace or an outdoor fire pit, some roasted marshmallows. (Don't burn your leaves, though!. This is illegal in many areas.)
