Sing to Your Baby

Bonding Activities for Every Age

By

When you sing to your baby, you increase the connection and bond between you. However, not every new parent is comfortable singing to their baby right away. You might feel awkward or self-conscious at first, and that's okay. Just know that before long, your child is going to be able to smile at you, laugh, and demonstrate just how important this special bonding time really is. Until then, begin to sing to your baby with these simple songs, knowing that even if he or she can't express it just yet, the two of you are beginning to develop a strong, vital bond.

Traditional Nursery Rhymes You Can Sing to Your Baby:

Baa, baa black sheep,

And one for the little boy
who lives down the lane.
