What are your thoughts on New Year's resolutions? Are they commitments that help us match our intentions to our actions, or distractions that leave us feeling guilty about what we don't accomplish? (Perhaps something in between?)
Whether you'll be making official resolutions this year or not, make 2014 the year you let go of unnecessary guilt. Start by naming it when it begins to creep up on you. Then ask yourself if you need to feel guilty about whatever it is. If you do, take action to make amends. If not, let it go.
