It's not uncommon to look forward to some alone time with great anticipation, only to find yourself feeling lonely and unsettled after just a few nights with the kids away.
Rather than dwelling on your temporary separation, try to enjoy the time and do a few things for yourself that you wouldn't normally get to do, like seeing a movie, reading a book, or tackling a project. And if you can, make a point of sleeping in at least once!
