Cope With Too Much "Me Time" During Extended Summer Visits

It's not uncommon to look forward to some alone time with great anticipation, only to find yourself feeling lonely and unsettled after just a few nights with the kids away.

A woman painting a wall two different colors.Rather than dwelling on your temporary separation, try to enjoy the time and do a few things for yourself that you wouldn't normally get to do, like seeing a movie, reading a book, or tackling a project. And if you can, make a point of sleeping in at least once!
