You may have noticed that this site is part of a larger Parenting and Family Channel here at About.com. We have Guides who cover a wide range of topics related to raising children, from the womb all the way up to the young adult years.
One of the things we do regularly as a channel is host the "All About Parenting Blog Carnival." This gives bloggers within the channel and around the blogosphere an opportunity to write about one central theme.
In August, I'll be hosting the blog carnival here on the Single Parents' site, on the theme "Back-to-School." If you're a blogger, write a post between now and July 29 on anything related to kids and parents getting ready to go back to school, and submit it to the blog carnival by July 29.
And if you're not a blogger, stay tuned. On Monday, August 1, I'll share the best blog carnival submissions, giving you plenty of ideas for saving money on school supplies, preparing lunches, surviving the first day of school, and more.
Blog Carnival Guidelines:
- Write a blog post about "Back-to-School" ideas for families, between now and July 29, 2011.
- Include a link to this post somewhere in your entry.
- By July 29, 2011, email me the title of your post and the permalink, along with your name and email address. Please use the words "Blog Carnival" in the subject line.
- Off-topic entries and those that do not follow the above guidelines will not be considered.
