Preparing to Stay Healthy During Cold and Flu Season

For single parents, staying healthy is especially important. Unfortunately, when you fall ill to a cold or the flu, you aren't able to give your full attention to your kids and all of your many responsibilities. To put it simply, there's just no time for illness when you're the primary caregiver!

That's why it's crucial that you take steps now to prepare your body for optimum health this season. Some simple steps you can take include:
  • Eating a healthy, balanced diet

  • Getting plenty of rest

  • Washing your hands frequently with hot, soapy water
