Manage the Halloween Candy With These Printable Candy Exchange Coupons

Wednesday October 31, 2007
In past years, I've "managed" the Halloween candy by eating the majority of it! But this year I'm taking the advice of About.com's Guide to Pediatrics, Vincent Iannelli, M.D., and creating a plan before the Trick-or-Treating begins.

I also made up some simple "Halloween Fun Coupons" to make trading in extra candy easy and fun for my kids. Since my son loves books, I'll make a trip to the bookstore one of his "treats." For my daughter, who loves to draw and paint, the coupons will include art supplies and a trip to the craft store.

The way I see it, we'll all have fun, and we'll still eat plenty of candy; but there won't be leftovers hanging around for weeks - or months - tempting us!
