Receive Free Halloween Costumes Through an Online Halloween Costume Exchange
Wednesday September 12, 2007
Don't you wish your kids could just re-wear last year's Halloween costume?
(Actually, last year my daughter was really wishing that. I ended up buying her the very same costume she'd worn the year before in a larger size!)
But seriously, they only wear them once! If they can't re-use them themselves, shouldn't someone be able to benefit from them?
That's what Stacey Lloyd, founder of www.PreschoolRock.com, was thinking of when she started an annual Halloween Costume Exchange on her Web site last year. The idea behind the exchange is to make it easy for parents to donate old costumes and/or receive gently used costumes. The parent who receives the costume simply pays for the shipping. Otherwise, the costume is free!
Plus, for those choosing to donate a costume, Preschool Rock has arranged for you to receive 20% off a new Halloween costume through Anytime Costumes. That makes it a win-win all around!
