Consider Mediation as an Alternative to an Adversarial Divorce

If you've recently become separated from your spouse and are trying to reach an agreement regarding the custody of your children, I strongly recommend that you consider child custody mediation. Most families find that this option is less expensive overall, and less stressful for the children in particular.

In addition, because the process of mediation will equip you with practical skills for communicating with your ex about raising your children, you'll be better prepared through mediation to collaborate as coparents in the coming months and years.
