Results of the Child Support Poll
Thursday July 13, 2006
On July 11th, we ran a poll to see whether the majority of child support payments are in the form of one "lump sum," or whether they go toward specific costs, such as education, medical care, and clothing.
91 parents have voted so far. 44% pay/receive one lump sum, and 9% pay/receive payments toward specific costs. Another 47% - the majority of voters in this poll - selected "neither," indicating that they either have a different arrangement, or that they pay/receive child support payments "on paper," but not in reality. Is this your situation?

Support kids is a corrupt organization that promises things they have no way to follow through on. They cannot do any more than a local enforcement agency except maybe telephone harass the obligor. Why would you give some company a huge chunck of money owed to you and your children?
Obviously this parenting coach has no clue what single parents really need. How about do some research instead of just guessing at what you are doing? Or stick to your more successful plan for plagerizing what was popular that the previous Guide had here (also very obvious)
RR - Thanks for the feedback. I’m going to check with the BBB reports and get back to you.
JSmith - To my knowledge, About doesn’t keep the old files, so I don’t have a record of what was here previously. I do, however, make note of what users search for on the site, and when I see a lot of searches for a particular topic, I try to add something about it for our readers. The articles, content structure, etc., are all new.
RR,
The BBB has received 99 complaints against Support Kids, and 15 against National Child Support. I’m all for giving people the information and letting them make their own decisions; but all the same, I’m going to remove these links from the blog. Thanks for your input!

you are such a joke. I’ll come back in a few months to see if they’ve hired someone more qualified to do this site.
Thank you for changing the link to state and local iv-d agencies. That is they type of information single parents need to know. I understand you are not a single parent so information like that may not be something you are as aware of.
