Going to the Movies This Weekend? Before You Go, Find Out Which Movies are Most Suitable for Young Audiences.

Friday June 30, 2006

At some point, each of us has probably had the experience of taking our kids to the movies and being surprised to see some adult content, language, or violence. How can you find out ahead of time which movies are most suitable for children? And what can you do if your kids are planning to watch a DVD at someone else's house? Is there any way to preview the content before you give your consent?

Actually, there is. The Parents Television Council provides reviews of movies, DVDs, and television shows. When you read these Movie (and DVD) Reviews from the Parents Television Council, you'll find out which movies, like Cars, have been awarded awarded the Parents Television Council's Seal of Approval, and you'll gain peace of mind about what your kids are watching.
